Pure Derivatives

Magnasweet® Pure Derivative Series is a line of products based on pure Glycyrrhetinic Acid, Glycyrrhizic Acid and Glabridin. Glycyrrhetinic Acid and Glabridin are organic compounds and Glycyrrhizic Acid is a natural material isolated from the licorice extract and unique to licorice root.

Ammoniated Glycyrrhizin, Monoammonium Glycyrrhizinate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate, Disodium Glycyrrhizinate, and Trisodium glycyrrhizinate are salts and esters of Glycyrrhizic Acid.  18 Beta Glycyrrhetinic Acid and Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate are salts and esters of Glycyrrhetinic Acid.

Magnasweet® Pure Derivative Products are widely used as functional ingredients, and in certain applications as active ingredients, in the formulation of foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and personal care products.

Their unique attributes offer a wide range of applications. In food and beverages, these products are used to eliminate undesirable tastes, intensify sweetness, extend sweetness, enhance flavors and extend flavors. In pharmaceuticals, these products are used to mask unpleasant flavors. Certain forms of Glycyrrhizic Acid and Glycyrrhetinic Acid are used to treat dermatological, gastro intestinal, optical and live disorders. In cosmetics and personal care products, these products are useful as an anti-inflammatory and co-emulsifier treat skin disorders.
